"Ruthie lost a lot of her stuff in flooding after the awful rains last month," says Chandler. "Her basement flooded and that's where she had her studio and that was ruined along with a lot of other stuff." Featuring Amy Ray of Indigo Girls (who released Magnapop's last record on her own Daemon Records), Tim Lee 3 (the Tim Lee of the band used to play in Homemade Sister with Ruthie Morris) and Warm in the Wake, the benefit show will take place at The EARL on December 15.

We've got two more freebies for you this week. The first is called "Rangefinder" and was recorded along the time of the Gold Dust Trail EP recordings. It's got a nice little (borrowed) 1928 Parlor guitar and some other cool stuff we played at Zero Return studios in Atlanta. Somehow the song got lost along the way...so here you go:
