Advance ticket sales end at 6pm on day of show (BUY TICKETS HERE)

Promoter Chris Chandler of Party Panda Productions and Jeff Clark of Stomp and Stammer have joined forces to help out the lovely Ruthie Morris, of famed local band Magnapop.

"Ruthie lost a lot of her stuff in flooding after the awful rains last month," says Chandler. "Her basement flooded and that's where she had her studio and that was ruined along with a lot of other stuff."

Featuring Amy Ray of Indigo Girls (who released Magnapop's last record on her own Daemon Records), Tim Lee 3 (the Tim Lee of the band used to play in Homemade Sister with Ruthie Morris) and Warm in the Wake, the benefit show will take place at The EARL on December 15.

FREE B-SIDES Week Three

Here are our last couple of songs to round out the FREE B Sides...

"Cursive Slaughterer" got remixed but never got mixed. We like the Remix better! Our friend DJ Dharmatronix mixed this one. It's got a beat. You can dance to it. Enjoy!

The last track is from out long, lost Port of Quick Returns record. It's still available on CD Baby and has some demo versions of some of the songs on Gold Dust Trail and American Prehistoric, but there are also some songs that have never been released otherwise. Here's one called "Tower":

Download: Tower

FREE B-SIDES Week Two

We've got two more freebies for you this week. The first is called "Rangefinder" and was recorded along the time of the Gold Dust Trail EP recordings. It's got a nice little (borrowed) 1928 Parlor guitar and some other cool stuff we played at Zero Return studios in Atlanta. Somehow the song got lost along the way...so here you go:

Download: Rangefinder

The next one is an alternate version of "Tantrum" recorded prior to the version on our American Prehistoric LP:

More to come...

FREE B-SIDES (New Old Songs)

As promised...here are the first songs in a series of freebies we'll send your way over the next few weeks. The first is a song called "Vulcan Saviors" written about Birmingham's Vulcan statue and the folks who renovated it. Personally we liked it better with the "Death Torch", but the new one is certainly more palatable. We're just glad it's still there...

Next up...short and sweet- a cover of The Beatles "Lovely Rita" done for a friend's upcoming film project. Hope you enjoy. More songs next week!
